501(c)(3) Nonprofit

Our Mission

You’re Perfectly Imperfect Corporation is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization committed to empowering youth and families through financial literacy education, mentorship, advocacy, and community-based programming that supports emotional wellbeing, personal development, and increased confidence.

As the organization has grown, our mission has evolved to reflect the broader and more diverse needs of the communities we serve. While sports and movement-based activities remain part of our engagement model, our current focus emphasizes holistic development, including:

  • Mental and emotional well-being
  • Financial literacy and life skills education
  • Social responsibility and leadership development
  • Access to resources, mentorship, and advocacy

Through educational initiatives, outreach efforts, workshops, and community partnerships — including periodic sports-centered programming — we support individuals in embracing their perfectly imperfect identity and developing the tools needed to thrive personally, academically, and socially.

Together, we are building stronger individuals, healthier families, and more resilient communities.

Our History & Legacy

You’re Perfectly Imperfect Corporation was founded to address systemic gaps in access to financial education, wellness resources, and personal development opportunities within underserved communities.

Rooted in service, compassion, and integrity, the organization began with programs that combined youth sports engagement, financial literacy, mental health awareness, and family suicide prevention advocacy. Over time, the Corporation refined its approach to prioritize financial literacy, mental wellness, and sustainable life skills, while maintaining sports as a supportive and optional component.

This evolution reflects our commitment to responsiveness, accountability, and mission alignment as a charitable organization.

Legacy Co-Founder Recognition

Dr. Santia Deck (Track Baby)
Legacy Co-Founder

Santia Deck is a co-founder of You’re Perfectly Imperfect Corporation and was instrumental in shaping the organization’s early direction and community presence. Her passion for empowerment, leadership, and advocacy — particularly through athletics — influenced the foundation’s initial programming and outreach.

Effective July 2025, Santia made the thoughtful decision to step aside from active organizational leadership to focus on Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) opportunities and other professional ventures. While no longer involved in day-to-day operations, Santia remains an honored part of the organization’s legacy and extended community.

We recognize her contributions with love, gratitude and wish her continued success.

Mental Well-Being & the Power of Self-Love

At You’re Perfectly Imperfect Corporation, we believe mental well-being is foundational to personal growth, healthy decision-making, and long-term success. True empowerment begins when individuals understand the power withing themselves, their worth, develop emotional awareness, and feel supported in navigating life.

Our programs and community initiatives emphasize self-love, mindfulness, emotional intelligence, and resilience, helping youth and families build confidence, manage lifes ebs and flows, and cultivate positive self-identity. By creating safe spaces for expression, reflection, and connection, we encourage individuals to embrace their imperfections as part of their strength — not something to hide or feel ashamed of.

We are also committed to mental health awareness, working to reduce stigma and promote open, compassionate conversations around emotional well-being. Through skill building and empowerment and community engagement, we strive to ensure individuals feel seen, heard, and valued.

When mental wellness and self-love are nurtured, individuals are better equipped to lead, serve, and thrive — personally, academically, and within their communities.

“Self-love is not a destination — it’s a daily practice that shapes confidence, resilience, and purpose.” Shea Stanley
